Lovelock Relays

The Hill City–University Athletics Club, would like to invite your Club / School to compete in the 77th annual Lovelock Relays.

Saturday, 3rd of May 2014

Place

University Oval, Main Ground, Logan Park, Dunedin.

Format

  • SW, MM, MW, HS Boys and Girls, Social/Mixed Teams: 4 x 1500m
  • Senior Men’s: 6 x 1500m
  • 12 and under: 4 x 375m (1 lap each)

Provisional Timetable

(to be confirmed in ODT Sports Draw, Thursday 1st May)

Race 1: 1:30pm: Social/Mixed
Race 2: 2:00pm: 12 & Under, 10 & under
Race 3: 2:15 pm: Masters Women (35+), High School Girls & High
Race 4: School Boys 2:45 pm: Senior Women, Masters Men
Race 5: 3:15 pm: Senior Men
3:45pm: Mass Run
4:30pm: Prize giving: At the Hill City University Clubrooms

N.B. Masters Men / Masters Women must be 35+ on the day of the race. High School Boys and High School Girls teams may be composed of runners from more than one school. 12 and under teams may be mixed teams. Masters and High School runners may run in the Men / Women grades but individual age grades must be included (for individual fastest times).

Race rules

Athletics NZ relay rules apply. Changes to a team running order must be on the forms provided and be handed to the computer operators not less than 30 minutes before the start of the race.

Entry forms

Will be emailed. There is also facility for on-line team entries. Please contact us if you require additional entry forms or electronic copies. Completed entry forms may be returned via post or email.

Entry fees

Senior Women’s, MM, MW,
HS Boys and Girls, Social/Mixed Teams		 $40
Senior Men’s Teams (6 person) $60
12 and under Free

N.B. Entry fees will be invoiced to clubs/schools after the event, if not paid on the day.

7pm, Sunday 27th April

* Late entries are negotiable with club secretary and may incur an additional fee. We look forward to your participation in the 2014 Lovelock Relays.
