What is Harriers?
Harriers is generally characterised as middle to long distance running (and walking) events from 1500m and up. These can range from cross-country events to road races with a large degree of variety between each event.
On our club days, we set off in packs according to individual speed from slow to medium and fast. These are social runs, and are usually around an hour, after which we return for a cuppa and afternoon tea together.
We have a winter kids running group also, these are fun runs where we go on an adventure for up to 45 mins. The aim is to have fun and enjoy running in a group. They are not competitive, and the kids are accompanied by 1-2 adults.
The harrier season runs from late March until early October. Harriers run from the venue you can find in the winter calendar most Saturdays during this period. We meet at 1:30pm and set off on our run at 1:45pm. In 2019, we will be combining with other local running clubs for some added fun.

The DRAFT winter season programme is available to view online or grab a copy from the clubrooms.
This includes all major races, championship events and clubs runs for the 2020 season.
