Yesterday Hill City-University (HCU) had a large contingent compete at the Edmond Cup. Oli Chignell returned to the Cross-Country scene in an absolute commanding fashion, tearing the field apart and cruising to victory. This is the first Cross Country race Oli has competed at since the 2020 Cross Country Challenge. George started as the second to last back marker, and powered his way through the field to also claim fastest time overall (29.01). This was a very solid race, indicating his Otago Champs School Cross Country race, this week should be a race to keep an eye on.
